damaged skin.
Finding strength while still
being surrounded by
your weak flaws.
Finding the depths of silence
of your mind amid your
mind’s turmoil.
Feeling serenity in your
messed-up world
of worries.
Looking bravely into
the mirrors of your
wounded past.
Staring straight into
your oppressors’
hideous eyes.
