Skeletons
Cagey and lanky
Skeletons, seemingly clad
In ivory white
Chilling, gleaming and smiling
Fascinate but terrorize
In response to October’s Monthly Special from The Menu.
The picture of skeletons (or just the facial structure) sometimes really scares me, but I had to go beyond my thoughts to come up with this poem, and it was worth it!
Thanks Penelope Mayfield and Pierce McIntyre for the prompt :-)
