The Rain.
Wet, earthy smell.
Dripping, clinking, lilting
me to sound sleep with inner peace.
Downpour.

I love it when it rains — Simply a drizzle or a heavy downpour or just been raining the whole day. I feel joy, peace of mind, calm — you name it — during the rains. And when it rains early mornings, and you are reading a book or writing or just about praying, that is another feeling altogether. You feel one with nature!

Sharing my favorite quotes below. As Mark Haddon says, white noise everywhere like silence, but not empty. I am just with the rains when it rains.

“Do not be angry with the rain; it simply does not know how to fall upwards.” — Vladimir Nabokov.

“Rain is grace; rain is the sky descending to the earth; without rain, there would be no life.” — John Updike.

“Rainy days should be spent at home with a cup of tea and a good book.” — Bill Watterson.

“I like it when it rains hard. It sounds like white noise everywhere, which is like silence but not empty.” — Mark Haddon.
