Mindfulness
Hidden in the dark recesses of my mind,
is tranquility and serenity, a different quietude,
to which I repeatedly retreat
when there is pain, chaos, turmoil,
which I can no longer tolerate.
In these dark recesses,
lies the key to my happiness.
It is just me and my thoughts,
with a few minutes of Mindfulness,
I forget all the agony and aches,
and become a better version of myself.
