A very powerful piece and so much candidness here, Preet. Brave of you to write about things just as they are. I had mentioned about being labeled some way or the other in one of my articles, but nonetheless, even without experiencing any such thing, I can still relate and understand what you have gone through. I hope people realize that it is not all about skin color or how pretty or not pretty we are, but I know this will continue. The only good thing is we are empowered and/or should empower and can/should take care of ourselves.
