Ghazal Poem — The Pandemic, masks taking breath, they hide — chaos everywhere, disbelief and death: they hide. Lady wrapped in white, laid in a box — expecting a last glance and strength: they hide. Man pleading for togetherness — fearing loneliness and its threat: they hide. Empty home waiting for endless chatter — scared of its own silhouette: they hide. A life throbbing in the Eleventh hour to be saved — suspended between both worlds and upset: they hide.
